Society, the world, and the universe are all based in truth and harmony. Everything works as it was designed to work in accordance with everything else. Just like the laws of physics which can’t be ignored, the laws of nature can’t be ignored, the truth is not debatable. Something is simply true, or it isn’t.

We hear things like spin. Spin is taking a fact and changing it to a more hopeful or desirable outcome. Those who disagree with the truth now have their own truth. They simple classify it as their truth. Cognitive dissonance has become its own reality. The opposite of truth used to be referred to as a lie. Now it has become a case of being disingenuous. We wouldn’t want liars to feel bad about themselves.

Nothing is more frustrating than to hear news stations report the same story and be 180 degrees apart. The stories are obviously engineered to support one political view or another. Whatever happened to reporting the facts and letting the observers draw their own conclusions?

Advertising is another arena where the truth is manipulated to support the desired outcome. What’s wrong with the ad that shows a cheap, compact sedan running like an F1 car on city streets (the last place where performance should be demonstrated) and making the driver a hero? Where is the truth in that? People just want to know what the product is all about (its core values), and then decide if it meets their wants, needs, and budget.

People are growing tired of biased, divisive tactics. They just want the truth, not the hype. By being straight forward and representing your product for exactly what it is, credibility builds making the rest of the selling process that much easier.
